FOUND MOMENTUM

Charlotte Fernandes is a Dorset-based dancer, choreographer and movement facilitator working across the UK. She is the Regional Dance Ambassador for Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures in the South, leading creative workshops alongside the company’s touring productions and inspiring people of all ages to connect through movement.

Charlotte trained at Laine Theatre Arts and Wilkes Academy, with further development through Boy Blue, Motionhouse and New Adventures. Her credits include touring new work across the UK, becoming a two-time UDO Street Dance World Champion, and choreographing a range of mid-scale productions spanning dance and pantomime.

Passionate about collaborative and narrative-driven work, Charlotte enjoys bringing a breadth of movement styles into the rehearsal room. She is particularly interested in how different movement languages can intersect to enrich storytelling.​​​

Ellie graduated from LIPA (The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts) in 2022; studying dance and musical theatre. Subsequently she joined Ballet Cymru 2 before completing JV2 with Jasmin Vardimon Dance Company.

Ellie’s freelance credits and experience span from working in opera and theatre, to outdoor touring and working with dance film. Currently she is touring with Autin Dance Theatre and working as a company dancer for Ransack Dance Company, amongst other projects.

Teaching, facilitation and community dance practice are a large part of Ellie’s work and she enjoys creating spaces where all people can come and feel freedom to enjoy moving.​​​​​​​​​​

Kathryn White is a freelance dance artist based in the South West. She graduated from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in 2024 before completing her MA in Performance with the international touring company VERVE in 2025.

During her training, Kathryn performed works by Gary Clarke, Joseph Toonga, Imogen Reeve, Dr Joseph Mercier, Bosmat Nossan, Luca Signoretti and Sattva Nguyễn, touring across the UK and Italy. She also joined Alleyne Dance as an intern during her final year at Northern, performing with the company at The Lowry, Manchester.

Kathryn’s practice spans performance, choreography and interdisciplinary collaboration. She is particularly interested in performing in non-traditional spaces, where movement can connect with audiences in unexpected ways. Rooted in contemporary dance and inspired by improvisation, she enjoys exploring new possibilities through movement while also sharing her practice through teaching with youth companies and schools.

Chloe-Louisa Hughes is a performer and choreographer based in Highcliffe. A graduate of the Urdang Academy, she has built a career performing across UK touring productions, pantomime, cruise productions and live entertainment. Her performance credits include Dance With Me Tonight: The Olly Murs Experience, Ultra 90s, The Bowie Experience and productions for P&O Cruises. Chloe is also a three-time Musical Theatre Dance World Cup Champion.

Alongside performing, Chloe works as a choreographer across musical theatre and live entertainment. Her choreography credits include Defying Gravity: West End Women and The Rat Pack Live in Concert.

Chloe also teaches at several local theatre schools, supporting the next generation of performers through training and performance.

Ellen Oliver is a contemporary dance artist and performer based in Poole, Dorset. After graduating from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, she trained with DART Dance Company in Berlin.

Her work spans theatre, immersive performance and site-responsive experiences, as well as performance in club spaces, with credits including British Vogue, the band IDLES and a sold out run at Camden Fringe.

Alongside performing, Ellen works as a movement director, creating movement for everything from music videos to editorial shoots. She thrives in collaborative environments and is always excited by work that is playful, physically demanding and a little bit unexpected.​​​​

Heidi Steller is a theatre designer, artist, curator and creative producer based in Dorset. Trained in Theatre Design and holding an MA in Printmaking from Camberwell College of Arts, her practice spans theatre, installation, sculpture, printmaking and participatory arts.

With over thirty years' experience, she creates immersive environments and collaborative projects that connect people through storytelling, creativity and shared experiences.

Alongside her freelance practice, Heidi is Creative Programme Director at Coda Music & Arts Trust, where she leads contemporary arts programmes, exhibitions and artist residencies. Her work is inspired by the light, colour and textures of the natural world, creating visually rich, sensory experiences that invite curiosity, play and connection.
